Last year alone the benefit Mount Carmel provided to central Ohioans through free health services, outreach programs and other initiatives exceeded $55 million. Community Outreach Center serves as safe spaces to schedule an appointment at one of our Health Centers, educate visitors about our care & services. The program brings comfort and hope to more than 40,000 central Ohioans each year, and is as considerable a benefit to the community as it is to the patients and families it serves.

The Crime and Trauma Assistance Program provides trauma-focused therapy to victims of crime and those who’ve experienced a traumatic event.

Care for those with life-limiting illnesses.

Support groups for victims of crime, children who have lost a parent, and patients with chronic debilitating diseases.

Street medicine team providing healthcare to homeless persons living on the land.

Free urgent healthcare at sites throughout central Ohio through our traveling Mobile Medical Coach Community Reach Center provides mental health services for Adams County and the Denver area.

Free HALO Sleep Sacks to moms who deliver at a Mount Carmel hospital through our Welcome Home program.

Free nursing visits to moms and new babies through our Welcome Home program.

Home visits for children from birth to three years of age through Ohio's Early Intervention program.

Among the services the program provides are physical exams, diagnoses and treatments, health assessments and screenings, health education, referrals and social service assistance, including: The closing of Safeway left only the Food Lion to serve the thousands of people that live on the Western Side of Charles County which includes Bryans Road, Indian Head, Pomfret, Marbury, Pisgah, Welcome, and Nanjemoy.
